Interesting Composition

The interesting composition that I chose was actually a video. The video is of Bobby Kennedy's speech to the public just moments after he was informed of the assassination of Martin Luther King Jr. Bobby knew how upset the crowd was going to be, especially the African Americans in the crowd. He went up there without any speech prepared and gave one of the most wonderful speeches that I have ever heard. Most of the crowd reacted with the same schocking scream and then fell silent waiting for Bobby to give them information. I think that it is amazing how he made that speech up right on the spot and even went as far as quoting his favorite poet. He told the people how he knew how upset they were but they musn't act out in anger. He explained to the African Americans how even though they were upset because a white man killed Martin Luther King Jr, he too had a family member killed by a white man and he was not acting out in anger. That 1960's was a very rough time for Americans and Bobby wanted to try to bring everyone together and work for the better.
